A cozy Italian restaurant located in downtown San Bruno. There are street parking hours enforced so I would check the hours if you park on the street, but the restaurant also has a parking lot behind it which I recommend. We ordered appetizers to share and each got our own dish. Items ordered: - Calamari Sautee: The seafood tasted pretty fresh, not the most fried or crispy if you prefer that. - Insalata Caprese: Comes with 4 pieces and you can cut in half for 8 pieces. Tomatoes were fresh and overall a pleasant appetizer. - Bruschetta: I really enjoyed the bruschetta with diced tomatoes and toppings. Would get again! - Pasta Special: The special included spinach fettuccine, rock shrimp, and clams in a creamy tomato sauce. I really liked the sauce and pasta was well cooked. The rock shrimp was a little harder than I expected.

First, I need to confess that I'm an Italian and a foodie I have high food standards. Lol. But this Italian place was amazing. The tables were very nicely set with real linens. The servers had on white button down shirts. It was definitely more than any ole' Italian place on the corner. We started with the bruschetta . I recently got back from a cruise to Italy and man the bruschetta on the ship just c$#&. Here I had the real thing. It was perfectly seasoned. The toast was crunchy to hold up all the tomatoes on top. My only complaint would be the tomatoes were the tiniest bit mushy but it tasted so good together. I would definitely order it again. The Caesar salad was equally amazing. It had just the right amount of saltiness. I got a bite of the veal marsala and wowza! . I've never had veal and the one time I had Marsala I found it sweet and didn't really care for it. This was one amazing bite. The veggies looked great, but the roasted potato... They were quartered roasted potatoes. They had the best deep dark brown crust looking exterior. Sadly, I didn't get a bite but it sure looked good from across the table. I had Gorgonzola gnocchi, which is an all-time favorite of mine. They did not disappoint. The gnocchi were light and fluffy and melted in your mouth and the cream sauce was perfect. I would get that again. My friend got the lasagna and it was pretty darn good. It had a lot of layers of noodles which I liked. I counted about five or so. The meat sauce was hearty and had great flavor. My only thing would be more cheese, but I don't think you can ever have enough cheese, but that's just me. . I'm not a huge tiramisu fan, but we had it. And it was a wonderful lady's birthday so we got another one with a candle and we got to sing to her. We never had to ask them to honor her birthday. They just did . We also got creme brûlée to go. It was soo pretty. Obviously re-heating later makes it lose a little of its magic but it still tasted creamy and smooth. Delish! Overall, this place is fantastic from the presentation, the ambience, the service but most importantly the food hit it. If you haven't been here quit reading and go.

Went here with my friends and food was delicious! Restaurant seemed to have an older crowd of customers but service was friendly and we were well taken care of. Water was continuously being refilled and the complimentary loaf of bread that comes with butter was soft and still warm :) Food takes a little time to come out but it was definitely worth it

Want a good cozy place to bring a loved one? This is it. Once again we find ourselves here. Not only is the food good but , you walk into an establishment where you feel like a normal person. You can come dressed up or down. You are just here to enjoy your dinner. Service is always welcome in may I tell you about our specials? Love that. Food always come out hot and fast. We Had a bus person that was on her game today. Refilling water and getting us bread and butter almost instantly. The food was delicious as usual. Dessert we can never pass in the tiramisu. Came with strawberries vs. blueberry's. Whatever is in season.

This is such a low key spot from the outside but pretty decent sized on the inside. The staff was quick to greet us and sat us down in the back because we didn't have reservations. The service was quick, and they served us butter with bread while we waited for our food. Everything was delicious, not too heavy and flavored extremely well. I will definitely be coming back here more often

This restaurant is located right in the heart of Downtown San Bruno. There are plenty of metered parking spots around this establishment. We were greeted and seated by a friendly waiter upon entering the restaurant. He told us about the specials for the day. We ordered the Calamari Saute, West Coast Penne, Fettuccine Alfredo with Prawns, and the Linguine Tuttomare. The calamari saute as a starter was pretty tasty and the calamari wasn't over cooked. The west coast penne had a good amount of chicken, sundried tomatos, and asparagus. The Aurora garlic sauce went well with it. The prawns in the Fettuccine Alfredo were huge. The seafood in the Linguine Tuttomare were fresh and the pomodoro sauce was light. All the pasta were cooked al dente. While we were eating, the waiter came to check up on us a couple of times. We enjoyed the great service and the delicous food. The prices were fairly reasonable and they gave us big portions. We will be back to try their other entrees like the chicken parmesan and their house specialty lasagna.

We needed some lunch after a doctor's appointment and wanted to try something relatively nearby and new to us. I was disappointed to see that the public parking has new payment kiosks. The days of free parking are coming to an end. They were scheduled to be placed into service either February or March. The restaurant itself isn't particularly wide but it is deep. There were only about three tables in use when we walked in after 1pm. We were greeted and seated, told about the specials, our drink orders taken and left to peruse the menus. Mom had had a large breakfast so wasn't hungry. She ordered a Bruschetta to munch on and she only ate 1/2 of that. She did try a couple of leaves from our Caesar Salad. Linguine Tutti Mare - 4 - Well-cooked assortment of seafood (clams, scallops, prawns, and calamari with properly cooked linguine. Special of the Day - Linguine with Clams, Mussels and Shrimp in a Tomato Cream Sauce - 5 - While it looked quite similar to my dish, the flavor was creamy and delicious. Caesar Salad - Classic Caesar Salad - 4 - Anchovies would have been nice but not everyone loves them so we understand. Bruschetta - We did not try. The restaurant was nice. The service was good. We would dine here again to try other flavors.
